I’m a nice guy. At least, I like to think so.

So, why am I always the one getting slammed and getting the raw deal?

Tonight I went out with some friends. Quiet night out at the pub. Although, I was driving and therefore kept mostly sober, I picked up the drinks tab.

Another friend had a party to go to in the city, so I left the pub to take him to train station. We missed the train because it took so long to pay the tab, so I offered to take him all the way into the city (almost an hours drive!).
The friend I have staying with us at the mo from QLD and I decided we should go out to the movies rather than return to the pub, which was good.

At the end of the night, I took the friend back home, to sleep in my bed, because they weren’t feeling too well, whilst I went back to the pub to rescue the two friends I’d left at the pub to keep drinking – had to pull one friend away from the party, and then go pick up the other friend from the train station after the party in the city ended.

All in all, I was today’s taxi and although I don’t mind.. the outcome is hilarious: I have nowhere to sleep tonight now! Yay, guess I wasn’t that tired after all?

It’d be okay if the person I’m kinda seeing, who wanted to catch up tonight after work, had followed up on said request.
